I am really happy to see you got some action and that you actually get a shot to play the ECOOP III. There will be plenty nights coming up, so more chances... and hopefully you can practice your play during next month's leader board.
Sometimes it doesn't matter how deep down you are. This Monday I played a $11 R&A tournament on Party Poker with my final cash in my bankroll (as I only deposit $50 max, which I did the Sunday before). At the break I was the lowest stack and didn't have enough funds in my bankroll to addon. After 4 hours I managed to withdrawal +/- $690 (not sure about the exact number anymore) from my account
because I managed to win the tournament.
So, no rebuy, no addon... and a huge ROI! Saying this, I like to emphasize that it takes only participation to win big. Remember Chris Moneymaker's WSOP Main Event win a couple of years ago? He qualified through a freeroll!
