The biggest pot I ever played was on Bodog. At this point I already blew almost all of my bankrolls on several poker sites because of my biggest tilt ever. I won't say how much it has totally cost me, but trust me it was a lot!

Anyway, I was playing on Bodog and played well over my limit in a $10/$5 cash game NL HE. The table consisted of players coming and leaving, but never more than 6 players at the time. When I got to THE hand, I had $1500, about the same amount I brought to the table (which had no buy-in limit). Before that I lost almost all of it, but also managed to get back.

I had AcXc and called a raise. (Remember I was already on TILT big time for a couple of days and nights!) I flopped the nut-flush draw and called again on the turn. I think (not sure about it anymore) by now the pot already got over a $1000. On the turn another Clubs came and I couldn't be happier. The other guy raised again and I went all-in without a doubt. He called instantly! He showed Two Pair against my Flush... and of course (this always happens when someone is already running bad) he made a friggin' Full House on the river taking away $3K!!! I had a huge advantage, really needed the win at the moment but lost... and that hurted BIG TIME!

Of course I should never have played there, as the stakes were really way to high for me and I should have stopped playing hours (days) before. I called Bodog support, had them close my account and really quit playing online poker for 7 months. Now-a-days I play online again, but very occasional and have low deposit limits set at every poker room I play. Of course I could easily get around exclusions and/or deposit limits and play somewhere else if I would, but I won't. I keep it to low buy-in tournaments and satellites only and enjoy playing them also. Loosing my money, even the small buy-ins still hurts, which is GOOD as it should hurt!!!

Playing live is another thing though. I don't really mind spending some more money for live games. Usually it's a night out and I tend to play tighter as the hard earned money actually came out of my wallet I guess my live game is also more solid, but that is my personal opinion and shall be a matter of debate for others.

Looking forward to more stories!

Giorgio
