Default Bummer!

I played a $2.20 R&A with 61 entrants tonight. (Yes! I am back to playing low stakes poker tournaments, basically to protect myself from making mistakes and end up loosing big time.) These days I am solely playing tournaments and stay away from STT's and cash games, because that's way too dangerous for the type of person I am, as tilting is not uncommon for me

Anyway, tonight I decided to play on the Ongame Network (Bwin) because my gf had a dinner meeting with one of her girlfriends. I started playing and grinded my way through the first few levels until I got pocket Queens and hit a Queen on the flop. From this point I managed to win huge hands and was in the top 5 almost all the time. At the moment of the break, I did an addon, even though it was a very small percentage of my stack. After the break I kept playing well and was in top position all the time, until I got heads-up. My stack was about 2/3 of the chips (+/- 110K).

Well, to make a long tale short... I lost and became second... and won nothing

The winner of the tourney got a ticket for Sundays' $500,000 Guaranteed Championship (worth $350+$25) and since there was an overlay, no second and third prizes were paid.

OUCH, THAT HURTS!!!

I didn't care about the money I invested, but playing well until the end and loosing a couple of consecutive hands when it really matters is just fuct, if you know what I am saying. Bed time now!

Peace,

Giorgio
