won a ticket for this event on Tuesday, and it is for the omaha pl tourney.
I have never played omaha before so took a look at the rules and went in head first!!
I must say that I was very surprised at the addictiveness of the game. I got through the first round and entered the Stage 1 with good confidence (for a novice) I got down to the final table and finally went out at 5th. I thought i had a full house but only had 2 pair as to the use of my cards. i will have to put show hand strength on in the options if i get another token...lol

Has anyone else played omaha before because i thnk it may have a new recruitin me as you really need to keep your wits aboout you to study the cards
Your thoughts please

Impressive, for a Omaha newb, nonetheless, haha. I hadn't practically no experience in Omaha until recently, and now it might be my favorite form of poker. Hi-lo is a fun variant too.
