49cents to $100?

Hi guys
I am now back playing after my sabbatical but with a slight twist!
I dont have any money of note in my poker account apart from 49 cents!! Woohoo big money!! I am not putting any money into my accounts until March (well there is a credit crunch u know!) I am going to try and make my few pennies into £100 by March 1st. With my play, a huge ask i know but i am gonna try.
At writing I am playing in a 20 cent 6 seater with a 1st place of 84 cents..well its a start!!!

Played in a 50 cent last night and got second so Balance is now
$1.47. A little unlucky but I think these games are a lot harder to win cos the fool called my jj all in with 47 and hit a straight!!!
Oh well its profit but may take longer to reach my goal...lol

Look at it long term. 9 out of 10 times you will win. Be glad these fools exist

Great challenge Rob, good luck! I also took a break from poker for a couple of weeks. Started again tonight but ran into some complete noobs at Gnuf. Therefore tried a double or nothing (at PartyPoker) for the first time ever! :-) And with success! Even just sitting out you could win...

Hi Giga,
i am just about to play in a $1 double up to see if I can, i am going to play in 2 double ups at each level(to get enough for the buy in at the next level) My plan is to then play in a couple of $10 SNGs, and hopefully $100 wil be mine!!
Nice to see you in the forum and feel free to post something, no matter how trivial, I DO!!!!!!!!!

I was playing only $10 double-up tourneys - and was quite succesful. Build up my bankroll over a hundred twice, but tilted it away twice twice as well.

Good to see I am not the only one tilting away. Having KK and then being played out by a 8-9-J-Q on the deck (with someone having the 10 of course). Poker can be VERY frustrating sometimes... But fun as well, otherwise why would we keep on doing it?

hi guys
just a short update. Bankroll is creeping up (I am At £3.24) But I feel i have been hit by the curse of the online poker Hands
Two games I have played and been placed in both with the following hands
I have 9J off, I am BB so check, flop gives 9,Q J, so player bets 100 so I call, Having 2 pair. other player calls 100 also Turn comes 10, Player bets 200 so me and other player both call. River comes, 5 and player bets all in, I with 2 pair call,automatically assuming other players have straight. Lo and behold I am out in 3rd. the hands? winner has 3Qs other playe has 2pair QJ and i Have 2pair J9. Now this is what I mean about online poker!! some of the hands are so set up to get us to bet!!!Only joking but i have played live poker and never seen anything like online poker throws up!! Does anyone agree?
Wel it was only a 10 seat $1 SNG so got a couple of cents for the trouble
