Default $2,500 GP Rebuy (iPoker Network)

The past few weeks I have been experimenting with lower stakes. I have been playing tournaments, I have won nice amounts of money, but usually I tilted all my winnings away on medium stakes cash game tables ($2/$4). So at one point I said, enough is enough... I am a solid player that knows the game well enough to make profit from it!

So, I have been playing hundreds of SGNs, tried the Steps at Party Poker, multi table cash games (9-12 tables at the same time, using PT) and so on...

BUT, after my journey I am back to the game of online poker I love the most, Multi Table Tournaments.

I am now playing several tournaments while I am working, just grinding myself ITM, and it's fairly easy. This morning however I am playing on a iPoker skin (Titan Poker for instance is a skin on the iPoker Network) and wanted to share some of my findings about the tournament I am playing.

The $2,500 GP Rebuy which starts at 8:30 GMT has ONLY 92 entrants this morning. The buy-in is $10+$1 and the current the first price is set at $750. Of course this price will go up as people are re-buying and will addon.

This means that this specific tournament +EV. When I checked the details after it started, I couldn't resist and telling it here.

iPoker skins promoted by Poker For Free are:

Titan Poker (Bonus: 100% up to $500 + $20 free)
VC Poker (Bonus: 300% up to $600)

iPoker skins promoted by Max Poker Bonus are:

Bet365 Poker (Bonus: 100% up to $500)

Default Over and out...

I played my last hand after 3 hours of playing and was eliminated in 13th position.

BB: 1,600
SB: 800
Ante: 160
Stack: 19,120

I get AdJd UTG+2, UTG+1 raises to 6,400 and I flat call, so I can get out if I don't hit.

Flop comes, Jc6s3c, and other player bets 16,320. I obv. call having top pair top kicker, and he shows KcTc. He hits his flush on the turn and leaves me drawing dead.

Again, decent play but just not enough. Maybe I should have pushed with my final hand on his raise, but he had a stack size over 50K, so he would have probably made the call anyway. Folding post flop was not an option, also because still had the best hand at that point.

Better luck next tourney!

Default First Money Finish $2,500 GP R&A

Today I ended 8th for $122.

Made a HUGE mistake by calling an all-in with about 50K stack with AhQh...

He obv. had AK and no help for either of us, so he won with K high.

Was folding 80% flops, so pretty tight. Didn't have to call, but didn't have the guts to lay it down... sad.

There were slightly more players than yesterday, something like 115 (don't remember the exact amount). First price today was $823.

Still running well in the $7,000 GP $25 R&A... Currently 25th out of 77. Folding 76%, will fold AQs next time!
