Default tonite at poker nordica

hi, i may be wrong (it has been known) however it appears to me that the start time tonite may be a little confusing.. poker nordica have the tourney starting at 12:00 their time, which is 7pm gmt, however if like me you reside in england, the home of GMT, the start time is at 6pm as we are at gmt +1.
lol lets start a campagne for U.P.T. thats 'universal poker time'
regards
Sean

Password hasn't been released yet, so I don't think this is gonna be happening tonight.

Unfortunately it's not the first time that signup/password time has not matched tournament time. I was gonna sign in shortly before the start of a tournament recently, only to find that registration for the leaderboard was already closed (and password gone), despite the tournament not starting for a few minutes.

A fully automated system is great and all, but you have to either double check the times, or be able to manually change the release if needed...

Tend to agree with you as we have had these probs in the past.
But on the other hand PFF have so many tourneys at the moment we may be moaning a little because we are spoilt...lol

Yeah. Not sure how this reflects on the site as far as the poker rooms are concerned, though. They may not be particularly interested in future cooperations if no one shows up for the tournaments...

all tourneys are password protected so sites will be aware of issues regards the password and entries

its a shame about tonite however these things hapen.. rather than getting all negative about it,as teething problems hapen in a growing enviroment, we should get constructive.. ive just messaged Georgio offering my services as a moderator concentrating on issues such as this and ive sujested a backup system that all be it crude, would i believe help.. keep smiling guys, this is a growing site that needs your support and its only downfall is that the growth is faster than it was forseen and there is now too much to be done by too few.. im sure this will be got on top of very quickly.

regards
Sean

Sure. But there shouldn't really be issues with the password. You know the password a long time in advance, and you give it to your members. Simple as that. So they'll be thinking either "they can't get anyone to play", or "they're too incompetent to organise it." Either way, not exactly positive.

But let's just assume that it won't happen again, ey?

I agree with psyc, we are going to have these problems with these things and ye lets be positive about it. As he says we are a growing site and its only fair that we give it time to bed in
