well with a low turn out for this massive prize i was very surprised that we never got more than 60 then all the dead beats went out after the 3rd or so hand. This left about 45 players still active. I was going well upto the hour. Won a few hands and was sitting pretty in 4th. After the break i hit pocket 9s on the button and went with a large raise which was called by one person. That was followed by an all in from the other player after the flop and as 3 low cards had come on the flop i called to see him turn over bullets. Took a huge loss and found it hard to get chips back. Managed to double up a couple of times but never got over 2000 chips. As the blinds went up i sat there and waited until i had to go in with a9 to lose to a pocket pair. That was 10th place and my final table went up in smoke. Who knows if i had thrown my pocket 9s away i may have made the payments. Great game and hello to anyone i met on the tables while playing.
