Actually, bad things may lead to good things (ideas) sometimes... I just got of the phone with my contact person at CD Poker and discussed the idea of rewarding players with a freeroll if they have played in our added. He also thought it would be a good idea, so we will run a test. This means that players who want to benefit from our events will have to make a deposit, but that should not be a problem since our added tourneys usually have buy-ins of just $1.10. Keep in mind, there's more money for less players from now on and trust me... playing for real money is a lot more fun. For now, we will see how it goes at CD Poker. Everybody who plays in tonight's PFF Added event, will receive an entry token for our freeroll to be scheduled somewhere next week. This means we can get rid of the freeroll whores and can add some real value to our site. Not that it's a big deal playing freerolls, it's cool, but it's a big deal when people start complaining about something they get for free, y'all know what I mean ![]() In the end we might end up with some nice amounts of added cash! By the way, the time has been updated and the event is now set to run at 19:00 GMT as promoted. |

@igy94 Yes, all players that play will receive the token. @RankXaroth We will have to set a minimum of 20 players, but to attract more players we have changed the added pot size to $170 for tonight. This will also be the case for future events. The added will be our most valuable events. --- Many people start out playing poker, but don't want to make a deposit. If, instead, you would set yourself a monthly budget, like $100 and keep playing on your own level (and not above it, very important!), then that would be a much smarter choice. If you would buy yourself into added tourneys for small amounts, like a couple of dollars, then you get to run for good (cheap) money. Playing the lower limits for real cash is much more competitive, trust me. One thing you should stay away from are SNG's and multi tabbing. That stuff is for advanced players and I have seen many beginners waste a lot of cash that way. Just remember, play for fun and not for the money. If you loose $100/month it's no big deal, if you loose your wage or your spouses' money it will be! G |

| Comments seem to be a dangerous thing around here, since you seem to be extremely sensitive. I was not aggressive in any of my posts, and yet you went completely psycho, for some reason. But anyway, what do I think? I think I posted some legit constructive criticism, and you completely did your nut over it. Obviously you not only don't learn from your mistakes (in fact, you seem to actively refuse to learn from them), but you can't take the slightest bit of criticism. You're also saying that you don't have even ONE minute a WEEK to check the starting time for two tournaments, at the same site! And yet you do seem to have the time to unnecessarily discuss and reschedule these tournaments with your contacts all the time. That doesn't make any sense. And, worst of all, apparently you simply don't care about these problems. ("So be it.") A somewhat odd attitude for an admin, in my opinion. And why don't I play your $100 added tourneys? How about because I could play $5000 added tourneys for the same entry fee? I also don't particularly care for league play (neither here nor at other sites), so there's not much reason to play these small buy-ins. And unfortunately I have neither the time nor the patience to play every tournament "seriously." I tend to play a rather high-risk game early in tournaments, and only continue if I manage to build a stack worth continuing with. If not, I'm out and I can take care of other stuff. Needless to say, that is not a style suited to playing buy-ins, since I'd just be throwing away my money. I rarely play buy-ins, and only do so when I have the time, the patience, and the conviction to concentrate for however long it may take. Think of that what you will. But this system has served me well, and I don't see any need to change it. Sorry for the harsh words, but you wanted to know what I think, so there you go...
