Excuse me, but I didn't moan. I simply stated the facts. You're moaning more about me moaning than I'm moaning about the tournament. (And you're making assumptions about my depositing habits, despite not knowing the first thing about me. Good one.)

Yes, it's a little annoying, because it happens again and again (and again and again and again...), and no one seems to be learning from their mistakes. (Which is rather sad, really.) But I'm almost expecting tournaments to be cancelled/rescheduled here by now, so what's the point in moaning about it? They are always rescheduled, so it's not like we're missing out entirely.

And no, I don't only play PFF freerolls. In fact, I have three other tournaments lined up tonight, so this actually suits me fine.

Because the password release time is wrong. It won't be released until half an hour after the tournament starts (or would have started.)

You are quite right about me not knowing about your depositing habits so sorry!
You have stated yourself though, it will be rescheduled so sacastic comments do nothing for anyone.

in defence I can appreciate that there are time zone differences and we should adopt a standard time for starting the games.

As i have stated in the past, tourneys cancelled at least get people on the forum to complain/make comments about FREEROLLS

Anyway, I wasn't intending to moan or make sarcastic comments. Maybe I should've left out the "... again" part at the end. But, seriously, this shouldn't be happening this often. I'm more disappointed in the fact that this still hasn't been taken care off, rather than then tournaments being cancelled.

I believe the problem is that the poker rooms don't always schedule the games for the correct time, due to using different server times, etc. Not really a big problem. But someone should check the starting time in the tournament lobby before setting the password release time. Surely that's not too much to ask? Especially since it saves a lot of time and effort in the long run, by not having to reschedule the tournaments all the time.

A regular starting time would be nice. But I think that's wishful thinking. I've seen the same problems in various other forums. As long as the poker room reps don't manage to figure out the time zones, they'll keep getting it wrong. And the whole thing isn't helped by daylight savings time, of course. There should be a UPT - Universal Poker Time.

Sorry, but why should I care about individuals like SilentJay... real money players, yeah right! Why didn't I see you in our added tourneys? If you can't see the value of added, then IMO you're a typical freeroller!

People REALLY don't seem to understand how much time consuming it is... and freerolls in fact do COST us money. As much as I personally regret it, I can't simply double check every freeroll in the lobby of a poker room. If THEY (the poker rooms) make a mistake setting it up, then so be it!

But we (the guys behind PFF) were thinking about giving up on freerolls anyway and take care of REAL poker players, even though if this may cost us half our members.

From now on just Added tourneys!

a wonderful response and idea Giorgio.. if i may add a sujestion that would both compliment your idea and still allow you to reward your money game players also.

Have just a sellected few freerolls that require members to have played in sellected paid for tourneys in order to quallify.

Thus,you no longer have to hide the password''

or, the paid game is for example 'tonite' and the freeroll is 'tommorow'. you need to play cash game the previous evening to quallify.
