Hi, I found in payout table some "mistakes": 1) winner in tourney with 30-74 players takes 40% * 80% it is 320 points and winner in tourney with more than 74 players takes 30% * 100% it is ONLY 300 points 2) 4th place with 30-74 players takes 12% * 80% it is 96 points and 4th place with more than 74 players takes 9% * 100% it is 90 points There are no difference (in points) in tourney with 80 or 260 players... I'd like to offer to the discussion, I think more justify, new payout "table": Points=round(100*((Buyin+1,5)^(1/2)*(Players)^(2/3))/(Position+1)) e.g. Freeroll 20 players: Points from first 452,301,226,181,151,129,113,101,91,83,76,70,65,61, 57,54,51,48,46 and 43 Freeroll 10 players: 285,190,143,114,95,82,72,64,57 and 52 With $1 buyin 20 players: 583,389,292,233,195,167,146,130,117,106,98,90,84,7 8,73,69,65,62,59 and 56 With $1 buyin 10 players: 367,245,184,147,123,105,92,82,74,67 What do you think about it? First of all, we are not going to change the payout table, simply because we don't have the time to change our scripts, as well as the payout table is "fair enough". It's not about participators in the tourney, it's about participators in the leader board event. Until this point we haven't seen events with 260 sign-ups and with the new set up I am sure we're not going to see that any soon as well. By the way, the table is a standard poker payout table. The reason we came up with the percentage structure is that playing 1 event should not be the difference in winning it all, or not. Giorgio |
