On Saturday I went to Casino Dortmund-Hohensyburg (the German EPT-Casino) It was my 4th time there. 8 of the aprox. 10-12 tables open (5-10 TH Limit, 5-5 TH No Limit, 20-40 TH/(Omaha Limit mixed) Some older guys (and ladys) who just wanted to have some fun (and spend their money), some internetkids who tried to make the "big bucks" with 50 Euro pocketmoney... ...and lefted the table after half an hour... ...with no pocketmoney and some who where seated when the casino was build and are still sit there. ![]() Reserved my seat one hour before by phone, so I could play 10 minutes after I entered the pokerroom. With 200 bucks for 2,5 hours at a 5-10 TH L table. Played about 15 hands. Won 6 or 7, made two mistakes and had one real badbeat (set of 8 vs. a straight flush on the river) . Average pot was 70-100 Euro. My best pot was 210. Leaving the casino with 340 euro. 40 for my sons save can and 100 for my next vegas tripp. ![]() Not the money you could win (or loose) in No Limit, but enough for a nice evening. Results after 4 "sessions": +205, -73, +5, +140 = +277 ![]() What are your experiences in live cash games/casinos?

Nice one there. I had a good day two weeks ago when I played a tournament in a casino in the Netherlands. I was eliminated at 95th and sat down at a 2/4 euro TH NL table with just 200 euro. I was lucky enough to get up with 843, beating a Dutch pro with too much money having a set 7's on the flop and a full house 7's over Q's on the turn... whe he moved me all-in. Because of his plays before and the progress of the hand, it was an easy call. |
